Ageism Action Day micro-grants information session

Centre for Ageing Better is launching an annual Action Day to tackle ageism on 20th March 2024 with the theme ‘see and be seen’. To support activity on the day Centre for Ageing Better is offering a number of micro-grants to community groups and voluntary sector organisations to hold events and activities on the day. These micro-grants are available to groups in areas who are part of the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities and are being offered as part of a pilot programme.
Everyone who is interested in making a micro-grant application is encouraged to attend one of two online information sessions:
- Friday 8th December 10am – 11am
- Thursday 14th December 1pm – 2pm
These sessions will cover why the grants are being offered, what Centre for Ageing Better wants to fund and who is eligible. This will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the Action Day or the micro-grants.
