Involving carers as equal partners – hear all about it!

The new Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) provides a great opportunity to strengthen the involvement of carers of people with dementia. Over two years, Tide worked with Dementia United in Greater Manchester to create the Dementia Carers Expert Reference Group, which is now embedded in the structures of the Health and Social Care Partnership there, with carers represented in all workstreams and task groups.

This webinar will discuss the findings of the evaluation of the DCERG (available here: https://www.tide.uk.net/the-dementia-carers-expert-reference-group-a-report/). It will give you the opportunity to learn more about involving carers as equal partners, how the lessons can be applied in your own locality and how tide might help.

Speakers will include Ruth Eley from tide and Ruth Turner from DCERG, with Gill Waters from Dementia United contributing to a panel discussion on the lessons learned, followed by the opportunity for you to ask questions.
