Drama with The People’s Company at Southwark Playhouse Elephant

Tell your story through drama!
Join this creative and dynamic 6-week workshop with A4D and The People’s Company and have the chance to tell your story through drama and performance.
This workshop series is for people with early-stage dementia or mild cognitive impairment, each with a companion
You will learn how to use a number of different drama techniques, whilst working on your own short storytelling piece. At the end of the 6 weeks, there will be a group performance at Southwark Playhouse on October 6th where you will showcase what you have been working on along with other local community groups.
This programme is free of charge and no prior knowledge or participation in drama is necessary; this project is for all abilities and can be done sitting down or standing up!
Only those who expect to be able to attend all 6 sessions from 1st September – 6th October can be accommodated. Numbers are restricted, so please register in advance by emailing emily@arts4dementia.org.uk or calling 020 3633 5401 as soon as possible.
