Focus group – opportunity to feedback about hospital care survey tool

Would you like to comment on content of a survey tool to ask people living with dementia about their care in hospital?

The National Audit of Dementia collects information from general hospitals in England and Wales to report on the quality of care provided to people with dementia during their admission.

These small focus groups (3-6 people) are for people who are living with dementia who have had experience of an admission to hospital to share what they think of a new short survey that has been designed about hospital care.

The NAD previously asked people living with dementia about their top priorities for care in hospital, and how they would like to be surveyed about it.  From this a survey tool has been produced.  It can be used as a questionnaire form or to carry out an interview.

This is a discussion-based activity which will take place online.  Information people share in the focus group will be recorded and dealt with in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), and the Royal College of Psychiatrists policies and procedures.  No information which identifies you will be shared with anyone.  You will be asked to sign a consent form at the start, but you can withdraw at any time, if you want.
