Former Carers Focus Group – tide

Each month tide holds Focused Group meet ups to enable specific groups of carers to meet up virtually and discuss topics related to their experiences as carers.

Have you cared for a loved one at some point in your life? The end of a caring role can be very challenging; it can bring up a lot of emotions including grief and bereavement. Caring for someone often becomes the main focus of a person’s life and when this ends it feels very sudden and can be a shock. You may be wondering what you can do now and what your choices may be for moving forward. As a former carer you have a wealth of experience and knowledge to shape the way society approaches dementia care. Or you may simply want some company with other like-minded people who share your experience in having cared for someone.

WHEN? The last Wednesday of the month at 4PM – 5PM.
