Learn about personalisation! An Introduction to The Peer Leadership Development Programme

DCAN is supporting NHS England with The Peer Leadership Development Programme.

In this event we will introduce you to some topics relating to personalised care, talk to you about what the programme involves, how it works, and how you can join the course on Future Learn and learn about personalised care supported by DCAN!

Our aim is to encourage people with dementia, and their family and carers, to sign up to the Programme and learn about personalised care to help improve the care you recieve, but also with the opportunity to progress through the levels and influence the health system if you choose to! DCAN will be there to support you through the entire process with group check in sessions.

You will hear first hand from someone who has gone through the Programme, they will discuss their experience and give you an insight into the process.

We will also host a panel discussion where we will answer any questions you might have.

Finally, we’ll talk you through the next steps and how you can get involved.
