Rare Dementia Focus Group – Tide

Are you a current or former carer for someone living with a rare form of dementia? If yes, you are invited to participate in the Tide Rare Dementia Focus Group. This is an initial meeting for the start of a monthly group surrounding this topic. Caring for someone with a rare form of dementia has a lot of issues unique to this diagnosis. This can often lead to finding general dementia support groups aren’t suitable and lead to people feeling isolated and alone in their experience. It is important for carers have access to information and advice that is specific to them. This group allows you to connect with others who share this experience and understand the unique challenges in caring for someone with a rare form of dementia.
