Relaxed Late Night Jazz: Michèle Drees’ Jazz Tap Project
June 8 @ 9:00 pm

The acclaimed Michèle Drees’ Jazz Tap Project perform live in the Elgar Room.
Michèle Drees Jazz Tap Project is a spectacular mix of rhythm tap dance and jazz / Brazilian music. This project works towards helping the revival of the iconic ‘jazz tap’ from Harlem to Hollywood’s silver screen, right up to the present-day jazz tap movement in the UK and abroad.
One of England’s greatest rhythm tap dancers Junior Laniyan and rising tap star Adele Joel will be performing live alongside the band.
There will be a laid-back attitude at Late Night Jazz at the Royal Albert Hall – customers are welcome to dance, move around, sing along, and enjoy themselves in whatever way feels most comfortable. The less formal environment may particularly benefit autistic people, those with learning disabilities, and those with dementia.
