In preparation for the event, Alzheimer Europe is inviting abstract submissions for oral, quick oral and poster presentations on a wide range of subjects within the areas of Resilience and the COVID-19 pandemic, and Societal and medical perspectives. The call for abstracts will close on 30th June 2021, abstract guidelines can be found on the Alzheimer Europe website.
Alzheimer Europe Chairperson, Iva Holmerová, writes “We wish to showcase how people with dementia, their carers, Alzheimer’s associations, policy makers, health and social care professionals, researchers and industry adapted to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and how new and innovative ways were found to diagnose, treat, care and provide support in these challenging times”.
Early bird registration for the event is now open, with the offer of a reduced registration fee of 75 Euros (regular fee 125 Euros), this offer is available until 12 September 2021. Special rates are also available for people with dementia, students and member association of Alzheimer Europe.
