Throughout September, World Alzheimer’s Month, Alzheimer’s Disease International aims to raise awareness of dementia diagnosis with the theme of ‘Know Dementia, Know Alzheimer’s’

With disruption to dementia diagnosis due to the covid-19 pandemic, ADI is focusing on the importance of a timely diagnosis and the warning signs of dementia.  This September they are asking people to get involved virtually to help spread the word.

Whether it be engaging with social media, sharing stories online, or attending a virtual event, there are plenty of ways to get involved.  For more information warning signs of dementia and tips on how to spread the word online, visit ADI.

ADI’s World Alzheimer’s Report is also due to be launched this month at an online event on 21st September.
