The National Academy of Social Prescribing (NASP) have launched a new Thriving Communities fund to support local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise projects that bring together place-based partnerships to improve and increase the range and reach of available social prescribing community activities – especially for those people most impacted by COVID19 and health inequalities.
Their aims include to increase social connectedness and help communities cope with COVID-19.
- Grants are between £25,000 and £50,000 and they will fund projects for a year.
- Projects funded should begin on 15 March 2021 and end 31 March 2022.
- There will be a total of £1.4 million in grants given
